Job Description

Job Summary: 

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager will lead all warehousing duties in our warehouse including: training and supervising warehouse personnel; and receiving, storing, labeling, packing, shipping, and counting inventory according to company standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s). To be successful, the Warehouse Manager will need to be hard-working, organized, and detail oriented as they will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner and all paperwork is properly processed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack customer orders, ensuring they are accurate and properly labeled.
• Enter orders into shipping software and print shipping labels.
• Process all paperwork associated with orders, ensuring tracking information is accurate.
• Receive and store incoming products and supplies, ensuring inventory is accurate and damage-free.
• File paperwork as appropriate.
• Organize the warehouse and maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment.
• Ship orders via small parcel and LTL.
• Conduct inventories as needed.
• Complete reports as needed.
• Communicate with team members, customers, business partners, etc. verbally and in writing.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Demonstrated knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures.
• Familiarity with small parcel shipping software a plus.
• Working knowledge of computerized inventory management systems. 
• Proficient in basic math to calculate shipment weights and dimensions.
• A collaborative, can-do attitude.
• Current forklift and hand truck certification or ability to become certified. 
• Proven ability to train and provide work direction to other warehouse crew members. 
• Ability to multi-task/shift priorities as necessary in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety. 

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse and inventory experience required.
• Prior e-commerce experience a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience a plus.

Physical Requirement:

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Ability to routinely lift and move up to 40 pounds. 
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, lift, kneel, reach, and pull.
• Ability to sit and enter data in computer.
• Ability to work independently and safely.

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
