SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT / CONSULTANT - Public Accounting

The 2023 tax season is winding down and you are getting ready for 2024. You’re researching the impact of tax law changes, and spending time with clients, advising on strategies for the 2024 returns and beyond.

WHAT IT TAKES:

You probably already know what this type of role requires:

• A passion for Tax Accounting and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• A degree in Accounting, with graduate degree a plus.
• Active CPA status is not required but a plus.
• Experience as a Sr. Tax Accountant, specifically in working with and supporting small businesses and high wealth individuals.
• Experience reviewing returns done by other staff, coaching on complex tax scenarios.
• Strong understanding and experience in tax accounting for partnerships. At least moderate depth in taxation for partnerships is required.
• Familiarity with capital intensive businesses (real estate / construction) is a plus. A good understanding and experience with various forms of partnerships and tax implications.
• You'll be in a client facing role much of the time, so strong interpersonal and client relationship skills are key to success. Experience working with CFO’s, Controllers, and other financial executives.
• Adept at common software like UltraTax, Quickbooks, RIA, and Excel.
