Outside The Box Behavioral Services in Lighthouse Point, FL is looking for a few registered behavior technicians (RBT) to join our small BUT strong team. We are located on 4701 N Federal Hwy Suite 460, Pompano Beach FL 33064. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, on time, and engaged.

We are hiring fun, motivated, and energetic experienced Registered Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 in-home, school, In Center and community services using evidence-based instruction/interventions to students with autism spectrum and related disorders.

What is a Registered Behavior Technician?

An RBT is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA. The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct and day to day implementation of behavior-analytic services.

Here’s what your role as a Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician may look like ...

• Working 1:1 to meet individual goals
• Start sessions with Clients on time!
• Implementing Applied Behavior Analysis under the supervision of a BCBA
• Collect data on observable behaviors to measure progress AND use this information to write your daily session notes
• Implementing instructional plans & behavior support plans (daily living, social, and play schemes)
• Use positive approaches to create meaningful change for the child and their family!

Qualifications

• 18 years old
• Must be authorized to work in the US/be a citizen
• At Least a high school diploma/ bachelor's degree in related field (Preferred)
• At Least 1 yr. experience with special needs children (Preferred).
• Registered Behavior Technician certification from the BACB (Preferred)
• Current and active Medicaid Provider Number (we can help you obtain this)
• The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation as frequent travel may be required.
• Must be able and willing to travel to Pompano Beach (Broward County) are as most of our clientele is located in this county.
• Active and valid Medicaid number (Preferred)
• IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR RBT CERTIFICATE WE CAN HELP YOU OBTAIN IT.
